Family hotel with authentic atmosphere

The building in which the hotel is housed was originally a square farmhouse (Leeuwerikhof - 1804). It housed the Maasschippers who pulled ships along the Maas with horses on the "line path".

In 1994, Peter, the current manager, converted his parents' farm into a cozy brasserie. The inspiration for the name De Sjeiven Dörpel was inspired by the crooked threshold on the front door.

In 2016, Peter joined his son, Daan, in the hospitality business. In the same year we also gave the barn and the stables a different purpose: 11 comfortable and modern hotel rooms.

The combination of hotel and brasserie in an authentic historical setting creates a special family atmosphere.
